About the Event

The number of children in out-of-home care continues to rise in Australia, but a shortage of foster carers remains, especially for carers from Indigenous and culturally diverse backgrounds, This is the story of Jacqui Scott, as she opens her house and heart for a number of young people from different background to be adopted and fostered, Roots tv team interviewed and spoke to Jacqui,  her passion and commitment in empowering more people from the multicultural community to learn and engage in this space. We will have a panel discussion after the short film, we have invited agencies to be part of this event, So join us for this free enriching event.
